Biography[edit | edit source]
A giant that slaughtered dozens of your people left you alive, and you don’t know why...
Crow was going to be the next great warrior of his herd. He was the best with an axe. He could outrun the others. He knew the migratory patterns. He was going to lead his herd. Then came the unthinkable. Their home was attacked by the very beings they venerated. From the top of the mountain came fury and wrath in the form of a giant. It destroyed everything in its path. They all fought. When weapons broke, they picked up logs and rocks. When those broke, they used their fists. When those broke… there was nothing left of them. Crow was one of the last to fall. The last thing he remembered was a fist the size of boulder smashing him into the cold, hard stone of the mountainside. When he woke, he couldn't move. His back was broken, his legs shattered. He laid there waiting on the world to fade away to nothing, but that didn't happen.
A red skinned man stood over his body. Crow growled at him to finish the job. If he was going to loot the dead, get to it. The man just laughed. He wasn't there to kill him. He was there to offer him a chance to get his revenge. All he had to do was sign over his soul. For his soul, he would be given power to gain his vengeance and when he died his soul would find it's way back to his benefactor. It was quite easy and all he had to do was place his thumbprint, in blood of course, on this very long and piece of paper. He looked as best he could out over his home. Crushed and burning, he felt the anger welling up. He agreed to it. Placing his thumb on the parchment, he felt pain like no other course through his body. He thrashed and flailed about as his back mended and legs became stout once again. He stood up and hefted his axe, but he dropped it. He was still weak. Angered he turned to the man and accused him of tricking him. A laugh was his response and that there were different kinds of strength in this world. Brute strength failed him and his kind the first time around.
Why not try something new?
That was the day that Crow Wolfcaller Orthakala became Crow Demoncaller.
That was the day that Crow learned the lengths that he would go to for vengeance.
That was the day that Crow began to hate himself…
Relationship with Patron[edit | edit source]
Crow hates Lorcan but knows that he is nothing without him now. While Crow wants more physically destructive power, Lorcan is forcing him to look at the world differently. Lorcan is not granting the gifts that Crow wants all the time. He does allow him some choice, as to not upset goliath. Not that he is afraid of him, but he doesn't want to make him completely uncooperative. He likes having Crow as a thrall. He's novel, a unique pet to show off. These giants will mold Crow into just the kind of soldier he can use with great effect.
